Welcome to the Twist™
Sport Conditioning Centre’s 2008 Fall Adult Conditioning Programs.
At Twist™ Conditioning everyone’s an athlete. The Twist™ team of
coaches will bring out the athlete in you, helping
you enjoy life pain-free, and making you functionally fit for sport
and everyday activities. Each adult group session is 1 hour and
15 minutes in length and participants can choose
to train 1, 2, 3 or 4 sessions per week. Participants can mix and
match different programs, however you must choose a specific
program date and time.
1 session /week = $25/session x 15 sessions
= $375
2 sessions/week = $20/session x 30 sessions = $600
3 sessions/week = $15/session x 45 sessions = $675
4 sessions/week = $15/session x 60 sessions = $900
TFL Lunch Class = 1 sess/wk = $15/session x 15 sessions = $225
TFL Lunch Class = 2 sess/wk = $12.50/sess x 30 sess = $375
TFL Lunch Class = 3 sess/wk = $12.50/sess x 45 sess = $562.50

FUNCTIONAL
FITNESS TESTING |
Add on pre
and post functional testing to your program for $99. Test your
balance, leg power, conditioning, core strength, full body strength,
agility and more with a group testing session in Week 1 followed by
a post-testing session in your final week. |
NUTRITION CONSULTATION |
How are
your eating habits? Are they meeting your sport and life goals? Book
our new “Nutrition Consultation” and have our Sports Nutrition
Specialist help you devise an eating plan that will help you achieve
your goals. Whether you want put on weight, decrease body fat, fuel
your body for competition, or increase your energy levels we have
the plan for you. Cost: $150 |

Twist’s most popular Adult
Conditioning program is guaranteed to make your body more fit and
functional. Adult Functional Fitness is a group
(non-choreographed) training program that integrates balance, full
body strength, core strength, stability, agility, aerobic and
anaerobic conditioning, flexibility, and more. This 1 hour and 15
minute workout will increase your fitness level, meet your athletic
goals, and develop your body to meet the demands of life and sport.
Train 1, 2, 3 or 4 times per week. |

Train like the Pro’s. For
all of those recreational hockey players who are looking like to
improve their game, this is the program for you. Our
hockey-specific dryland program will focus on making you a better
skater, shooter, and checker with specialized drills that focus on
linked strength, rotary power, first step quickness, stride power,
skating balance, and skating speed. Train once a week and feel the
difference on
the ice. |

Take your conditioning to
a higher level in this NEW dynamic program which incorporates BOSU®
and the stationary BIKES. Challenge
your limits for 75 minutes using proper cycling mechanics, anaerobic
intervals, balance, co-ordination, core stabilization, core strength
and athletic mobility. Whether you are looking for an extra punch to
compliment your workouts or prepping for the Fall riding season our
certified cycling instructor and Twist coach will ensure you get
what you came for! |
STRENGTH BALL

Inspired by the best
seller book “Strength Ball Training” by Peter Twist and Lorne
Goldenberg, this NEWLY DESIGNED core class will
challenge your core to a whole new level. SBC training focuses on
developing stability, strength, and endurance in the abdominals,
hips, lower back and glutes. If you are looking for a low impact
workout, want to develop the 6 pack abs you’ve been dreaming of, or
want to get rid of on-going lower back pains, SBC is the class for
you. |

The functional lunch is
the perfect opportunity to get your workout in on your lunch break.
This high intensity workout will be completed in
45 minutes. You will be in and out of the training centre in 45
minutes after an amazing balance, strength, core and aerobic
conditioning workout. Go back to work or home with more energy.
Showers and change rooms are available at the SCC. |
WOMEN’S ONLY
FUNCTIONAL

Our Women’s Only program
will cover all of the same physical training parameters as the Adult
Functional Fitness program. It will focus
on increasing your body’s overall fitness level through Twist’s
movement based sport training methods including core training,
balance, full body strength, and more. Each session is 1 hour and 15
minutes and participants will leave feeling functionally fit, pain
free, ready to move better for any leisure activity. |
