Adult Conditioning Programs

Welcome to the Twist Sport Conditioning
Centre’s 2008 Fall Adult Conditioning Programs. At Twist
Conditioning everyone’s an athlete. The Twist team
of coaches will bring out the athlete in you, helping you enjoy life
pain-free, and making you functionally fit for sport and everyday
activities. Each adult group session is 1 hour
and 15 minutes in length and participants can choose to train 1,
2, 3 or 4 sessions per week. Participants can mix and match
different programs, however you must choose a specific
program date and time.
Adult Conditioning
Programs
1 session/wk = $30/session x 15 sessions = $450
2 sessions/wk = $25/session x 30 sessions = $750
3 sessions/wk = $20/session x 45 sessions = $900
Functional Lunch Class
1 session/wk = $20/session x 15 sessions = $300
2 sessions/wk = $15/session x 30 sessions = $450
3 sessions/wk = $15/session x 45 sessions = $675
Twist™ Sport Conditioning Centre will be
closed for Thanksgiving Monday October 13. All Adult and Youth Programs
affected by this will prorated by the appropriate amount upon
registration.

Twist’s most popular Adult
Conditioning program is guaranteed to make your body more fit and
functional. Adult Functional Fitness is a group
(non-choreographed) training program that integrates balance, full
body strength, core strength, stability, agility, aerobic and
anaerobic conditioning, flexibility, and more. This 1 hour and 15
minute workout will increase your fitness level, meet your athletic
goals, and develop your body to meet the demands of life and sport.
Train 1, 2, 3 or 4 times per week. |

HOCKEY
CONDITIONING

For all of those
recreational hockey players who are looking like to improve their
game, this is the program for you. Our hockey-specific dryland
program will focus on making you a better skater, shooter, and
checker with specialized drills that focus on linked strength,
rotary power, first step quickness, stride power, skating balance,
and skating speed. Train once a week and feel the difference on the
ice. |
CYCLESPORT

CONDITIONING

Take your
conditioning to a higher level in this NEW dynamic program which
incorporates BOSU® and the stationary BIKES. Challenge your limits
for 75 minutes using proper cycling mechanics, anaerobic intervals,
balance, co-ordination, core stabilization, core strength and
athletic mobility. Whether you are looking for an extra punch to
compliment your workouts or prepping for the Fall riding season our
certified cycling instructor and Twist coach will ensure you get
what you came for! |
STRENGTH BALL
CORE

SBC |
Inspired by the best
seller book “Strength Ball Training” by Peter Twist and Lorne
Goldenberg, this NEWLY DESIGNED core class will
challenge your core to a whole new level. SBC training focuses on
developing stability, strength, and endurance in the abdominals,
hips, lower back and glutes. If you are looking for a low impact
workout, want to develop the 6 pack abs you’ve been dreaming of, or
want to get rid of on-going lower back pains, SBC is the class for
you. |

FUNCTIONAL

The functional lunch
is the perfect opportunity to get your workout in on your lunch
break. This high intensity workout will be completed in 45 minutes.
You will be in and out of the training centre in 45 minutes after an
amazing balance, strength, core and aerobic conditioning workout. Go
back to work or home with more energy. Showers and change rooms are
available at the SCC. |
