Twist Adult Conditioning Programs Summer 2008

Welcome to the Twist Sport Conditioning Centre’s 2008 Summer Adult Conditioning Programs. At Twist Conditioning everyone’s an athlete. The Twist team of coaches will bring out the athlete in you, helping you enjoy life pain-free, and making you functionally fit for sport and everyday activities. Each Adult group session is 1 hour and 15 minutes in length and participants can choose to train 1, 2, 3 or 4 sessions per week. Participants can mix and match different programs, however you must choose a specific program date and time. See schedule below for session dates and times.

All Adult Athletes receive 1 week free upon registration to allow time for Summer Vacation. Sign up for our 10 week summer program and pay for only 9 weeks. For those that are away for multiple weeks we will be offering our Saturday morning make-up session.

ADULT
FUNCTIONAL

Twist’s most popular Adult Conditioning program is guaranteed to make your body more fit and functional. Adult Functional Fitness is a group (non-choreographed) training program that integrates balance, full body strength, core strength, stability, agility, aerobic and anaerobic conditioning, flexibility, and more. This 1 hour and 15 minute workout will increase your fitness level, meet your athletic goals, and develop your body to meet the demands of life and sport. Train 1, 2, 3 or 4 times per week.
WOMEN'S ONLY FUNCTIONAL FITNESS

Our Women’s Only program will cover all of the same physical training parameters as the Adult Functional Fitness program. It will focus on increasing your body’s overall fitness level through Twist’s movement based sport training methods including core training, balance, full body strength, and more. Each session is 1 hour and 15 minutes and participants will leave feeling functionally fit, pain free, ready to move better for any leisure activity.

Take your conditioning to a higher level in this NEW dynamic program which incorporates BOSU® and the stationary BIKES. Challenge your limits for 45 minutes using proper cycling mechanics, anaerobic intervals, balance, co-ordination, core stabilization, core strength and athletic mobility. Whether you are looking for an extra punch to compliment your workouts or prepping for the summer riding season our certified cycling instructor and Twist coach will ensure you get what you came for!
Cost: $20/session = $180 special (10 weeks)
YOGA SPORT
YOGA
Whether you are looking to improve your flexibility and function for activity and performance or you are an avid yoga student, this 75min class will focus on your balance, strength, coordination, flexibility and core stability. Linking postures together in a flowing sequence emphasizes continuous steady rhythm of breath and movement creating an athletic practice. Postures target tension areas and stiff muscles to compliment your regular training and performance sessions. This program is taught in the Twist environment by a certified yoga teacher and conditioning coach - suitable for all ages.
Cost: $15 per session - $135 special (10 weeks)

The functional lunch is the perfect opportunity to get your workout in on your lunch break. This high intensity workout will be completed in 45 minutes. You will be in and out of the training centre in 45 minutes with an amazing balance, strength, core and aerobic conditioning workout. Go back to work or home with more energy. Showers and change rooms are available at the SCC.
Cost: 1/week = $180 special (10 wks) • 2/week = $270 special (10 wks)

OUTDOOR CONDITIONING

Take advantage of everything the West Coast has to offer with the “NEW” West Coast Outdoor Conditioning Class. This program will challenge you with exercises, drills, and training tools that you don’t typically see in a Twist Adult Functional Fitness Class. The Twist Team will use safe and effective training techniques to give you a full body strength and conditioning workout that will focus on increasing your aerobic and anaerobic energy systems, plus improve your core and full body strength. Get fit and athletic in one of the best training environments in the world. Sessions will take place in the fields, trails, and mountains in close proximity to the Twist Sport Conditioning Centre. Participants of all levels are welcome as you will train at your own pace.
SPECIALS • Early Bird Discount: register before June 23 and receive $25 off your program
• Spring Training Members: register before June 23 and receive $50 off your program
• Referral Discount: receive a further $50 off if you refer a family member or friend

REQUIREMENTS
for new participants
All new Twist Adult program participants must book an Introduction to Sport Conditioning Session. This is a one hour 1 on 1 training session in which you will learn all of the major sport conditioning movement mechanics and postures. If you have trained with Twist Conditioning in the past you do not need to take this session. The cost of the session is $50 and valued at $75. All Introduction to Sport Conditioning Sessions need to be booked upon registering and completed prior to your first session.

2 sess/week = $25/sess x 20 sess = $450 special (reg $500)
3 sess/week = $20/sess x 30 sess = $540 special (reg $600)

Lunch = 2/wk = $15/sess x 20 sess = $270 spec. (reg $300)
